Title: Area Sales Manager
Location: Newcastle, North East England

Our client is a worldwide market leader who design, manufacture and distribute internal building products & systems into the construction market place via distribution, this role has come about through internal promotion.
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to fill this commercial role within the construction industry. As Area Sales manager you will be responsible for selling and building long-term relationships with Independent Builders Merchants and specialist distributors whilst maintaining the relationship with the end users like Main & Sub contractors in both the private and public sectors.
Ideally you’ll be currently selling products into the construction industry and have experience selling into the above marketplace or perhaps you are currently in a field sales position selling for one of the distributors either way I’m very keen to hear from you. You will have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate an organised approach along with the confidence to negotiate and close contracts whilst developing, building and maintaining excellent client relationships.
